Rediscover & Explore Masculine Archetypes w/ Ian
Guys, one of the big themes of the Write Conscious book club and the literary renaissance is embodying the positive aspects of masculinity. Malignant masculinity (and malignant femininity) are the causal factors for most problems in the world. King, Warrior, Maigican, Lover is a nice introduction to Jungian masculine archetypes and how we should integrate those into our daily lives.
This is a perfect companion to our Iron John and Sun & Steel book club. If you read all three books, your perspective on masculinity will shift dramatically. This is the start of many books we will be reading that focus on male psychology.
We will have great conversations about this book (as talking about men’s issues from a mythopoetic lens is an endless rabbit hole), and I would love to see you there!
