Kafka on the Shore, in my opinion, is Haruki Murakami’s best novel. During the late 90’s, Murakami peaked as an author and combined Japanese culture, magical realism, and tragedy into beautiful novels like The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Kafka on The Shore.
So, let’s go on this journey together! Murakami may be my favorite person to talk about with other people because of his odd and immersive characters, plots, and settings. We always have endless things to talk about in the 1Q84 Book Club.
