Today marks the start of our venture into fiction course videos and posts that I’ve never shared before. All the previous posts were already published in our old group, so here is the first original Substack fiction course video!

Subplot resonance is one of the most important parts of fiction, and every great story has a strong subplot running through it. In the video above, I discuss the three types of subplots and provide examples from literature that illustrate their importance. I also show how to implement it into a transformative piece of literature!
