Consider the Lit Bro

the ontology and phenomenology of the lit bro

For years now, the lit bro has been demonized, as the white-man performative reader who loves Infinite Jest and Gravity’s Rainbow, who holds the line and standards of literature, from the endless slop being shoved down our throat.

However, the lit bro is much deeper than that. A lit bro isn’t a sole type of reader, a lit bro is someone who approaches literature in a certain way.

Once you realize this, you see that the barbarian lit bros, with no imagination or clarity, stormed the gates over a century ago and took over the throne of literature. The past 100 years have been a slow psyop, trying to convince up-and-coming readers that their flat, ever-questioning view of literature is the norm, what we should all strive for.

All of us have been lit bros before, many of us still are.

Today’s video is a full breakdown of the lit bro epidemic that is ruining literature right now.

People love to complain about the NPC post-literate masses and how their refusal to read is ruining the world.

But why are we looking outward when we don’t even have our own house in order? When we are propping up a bunch of losers

In today’s video, I take a whole new approach on how to understand what a lit bro is, how they came to power, and how we can kick them the fuck out.

See you on the battlefield!
