Hey guys, we will finish the 7/8 books we started with in the next couple of weeks. I want to read ten books in the next wave of book club! I will also be changing some dates/times of book club calls so more people can make it. There will also be recordings posted of all calls going forward with new books so people can watch!
If you guys have any books you’re dying to read or think we should cover, I would love to know in the comments below. However, make sure they meet these criteria.
It has to be somewhat well-known. We all have our favorite unknown authors, but since it's summer, people will have to forgo spending time outside to attend the calls. What popular, canonical, or major books have you always wanted to read?
The book should be fiction, poetry, or a non-fiction craft book on writing. I will start adding some philosophy, psychology, and other books on my own to see how interested people are!
Comment below or email me with any recommendations you guys have!
I would love to read Antkind by Charlie Kaufman with you guys. It's one of the funniest and most unique books I've read from the past couple of years. I can't convince a single friend to read it and I've heard very little talk of it.
I’d love to read Gravity’s Rainbow with this group. I think Lolita could also be a good one. And sorry I’ve been MIA for the past two meetings - my schedule should free up starting this weekend.
